Kiran was born in London in 1990. She is a poet, playwright, and novelist. She completed her undergraduate degree at Cambridge University, and graduated from Oxford University’s Creative Writing MSt with Distinction. She was a Barbican Young Poet, President of the Oxford University Poetry Society, and won the Yeovil International Poetry Prize 2013. Her debut play BOAT opened to five-star reviews at Theatre N16 in 2015. Kiran is represented by Hellie Ogden in the UK and Kirby Kim of Janklow and Nesbit in the USA. When not writing, Kiran loves reading with a cat on her lap.
