Hadiyah (second year intern)

HadiyahHadiyah Sama is an aspiring author based in Surrey. She has been published in two anthologies to date and has worked as a freelance journalist for the student news website AffairsToday.

Hadiyah has spent the last two years working with the literary organisation YA Shot, and is keen to make publishing a fairer place for all. She has a BA in English and Creative Writing from Brunel University of London and received the Catherine Barrett prize in 2015 for her short story The Tempest in a Teacup. Hadiyah is currently working on an MA in Creative Writing: The Novel at Brunel, as well as working on an independent anthology to highlight some of Brunel University’s most promising upcoming writers.

When not crying over deadlines, cats, and fictional characters, Hadiyah should technically be working to keep her blog (www.hadiyahsama.wordpress.com) up to date… (should be).
